Golden Screen Cinemas Sdn Bhd (GSC) today extended big cinema kuantan another 10-screens in Melaka, in addition to the current 4-screen GSC Mahkota Parade big cinema kuantan to cater to the entertainment needs in the historic city of Melaka. With the additional 2002 seats in the new multiplex, there will be a total of 2,811 seats available in the two GSC cinemas in Melaka. Tickets will be priced at RM9 per normal big cinema kuantan seat in GSC Dataran Pahlawan. Date : 11th July 2010 We started at 6.00 am and went to Gaya Street Fair at Gaya Street and Tamu KPD, Kota Kinabalu, Sabah with Janet Floyd, Judy Liew Su Tsin and Marcella E. Jimbangan. At Tamu KPD Afterwards we went to Open University Malaysia (OUM), had lunch and then visited Sabah State Museum. At Sabah State Museum, Janet Floyd briefed on the history, people and culture differences among various ethnic algoritam split in Sabah. In the afternoon we went again to Tanjung Aru First Beach at Tanjung Aru, Kota Kinabalu, Sabah and strolled along the beach and ate durians before heading towards Sabah currently biggest shopping complex, 1 Borneo. At 1Borneo we relaxed and freshened up with Twilight Eclipse at GSC 1Borneo. We had dinner at Gayang Seafood Restaurant at Gayang, Kota Kinabalu, Sabah and headed home at 10.00 pm. It was a great day full of stories and laughter. For Janet, this was a enjoyable day, action packed day, connecting with Malaysian colleagues and building new relationships. Thanks to Surie, Judy and Marcella for a wonderful introduction to the hospitality and friendship that I would experience in the coming week from everybody at SMK Datuk Peter Mojuntin.

Toyota Merit members from three states were recently treated to a movie day, with 259 members from Kuala Lumpur, Penang and Kota Kinabalu invited to a free screening of the movie X-Men: First Class at three different cinemas.
Members in Kuala Lumpur were invited to the Gold Class Hall of GSC Pavilion, KL on 4 – tampa food trucks 5 June 2011, where before the actual movie screening, they were treated to a light buffet and played trivia quizzes to win X-Men and Toyota Merit merchandises.

Holiday in Kota Kinabalu surely is enjoyable with all beautiful Mother Nature surrounding. With only 5 days and 4 nights in KK, my parents not decided to spend the days on other places. Truthfully, I don’t regret at all by missing the chance to visit the islands and activities because I focus more on food rather than sightseeing. After entering cinema ipoh centre point, city mall, warisan square and 1Borneo, I felt that 1Borneo had done the best decoration for the upcoming Christmas celebration. I’m disappointed with Warisan Square because the air flows are bad and air-condition way too hot. Honestly, only centre point and 1borneo worthy to enter. Afterall, 1Borneo was the largest shopping mall in east Malaysia You can find lots of food franchises in 1Borneo, even my both hands’ fingers can’t count all of them. Not to forget the Golden Screen Cinema, GSC, 2 floors game arcade, archery, cinema ipoh bowling, cybercafé and pool in 1Borneo !! :D

[Day 3] Woke up at around 7.30-8.00 am to get ready for breakfast and Gaya Market held every Sunday

[Day 3] Woke up at around 7.30-8.00 am to get ready for breakfast and Gaya Market held every Sunday morning. Its like a pasar malam with a mix of pasar pagi, which targets mostly tourists with stalls that offer mostly souvenirs. • Gaya Street or Gaya Market? Every Sunday morning [Clockwise from top : the 'Gate', rabbit for sale, flowers and crochets and bracelets. • Tortoise for sale at Gaya Market! :) ♥ Got changed back in hotel because we're drenched knjizare in sweat, before checking out. Then we checked in at GrandBorneo (yes, kaima checked in also in Facebook) and went up to 1Borneo's GSC to buy tix for late night movie. • Grandborneo's lobby. Took this because knjizare i was too free while they were busy checking in :P • Camwhore after got the first room. i know, my hair. >__< Thomas, the young friend of the old man ex-student of Mr Tiong, mentioned in previous post, fetched us before fetching Mr Tiong and we left for seafood in Penampang. • A roundabout in Penampang. Hiak hiak hiak. But, the shop was not opened until 3pm, and we reached there around 1+, so we had to wander take a walk at KDCA. I dont know what it stands for, but according to its website , KDCA stands for Kadazandusun Cultural Association. Heh. • KDCA • Again, houses in KDCA. LOL Before we left KDCA, we decided knjizare to take picture in front of the gong-like thing ,tagung (???) at the entrance. We're very lucky because there was a cement stand there, high enough to act as the stand for the camera for self timer. • At KDCA! 大合照 ♥ So, we have our 大合照! I ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ 大合照, where no one is left out! :))) Hehehehehehehe. Back to seafood : Honestly, i really really seldom eat prawns especially if they still have their shells intact. (exception for Assam Prawns, :O) this time, lazy eat also have to rajin abit. :)) Next time i must also find someone to help me kopek the shells apart from teaching me how to swim X) • ♥ Lime juice : 3 vs 3. Right, with skin. Left without skin. Great thirst quencher knjizare ;) • Siput Seafood at Penampang, Sabah. the 招牌豆腐 so nice ♥ :P We wanted to go for coconut pudding as dessert but the shop was closed. Then on our way back to 1Borneo, we visited the University Malaysia Sabah, UMS. Known as one of the most beautiful university in Malaysia. • UMS, facing the sea. so it has nice view of the sea and the sky. • Almost-sunset view from UMS's jetty. • ♥ the 2 pics on the RIGHT. they are TWO SEPARATE photos that fit so well together. Not two pictures that were separated from one. ;) The U is huge, without transportation, it'll take us at least 2-hour to tour the U on our feet, exclude visits into the building. But fortunately, we have THOMAS! knjizare Hehehehhehehehehe. • Thomas. :) • Kai ma, fail the thing. LOL. no la, she didnt expect it also. • Yay! Took some time at UMS's jetty, where the patpohs and men fought because of the poses posed for photo-taking. • The ladies Ee.. all of us are so cute. Not like this two : • The 咸菜s men. Macam ikan masin or sayur masin being dried out in the sun XD kan kan kan??? Then, we dropped off at GrandBorneo, get our another room and checked-in before meeting YBB. Shopping lagi loh before watching The Rise of The Planet of The Apes. Chor 2 rounds of Di while munching on very nice coconut and yam puddings before going to bed. *P/s: before ending, i must say: Sabah has alot alot alot of roundabouts; from big to small. And according to Winston, knjizare ...... this is RAFFLESIA. LOL . . .

While the entertainment antikvarijat split aspect already attracted many tourists , various of 'zen'

  Hey there, my fellow readers .  For today's travel post , I spent a few hours checking out the first and largest hyper-mall in East Malaysia . Such a big place and providing so much in the terms of accommodation (for tourists) , shops , food outlets (including western outlet as well ) and not to be missed , the excitement and few bonuses here as well ! 
      Located just outskirt from the heart of Sabah , 1Borneo certainly is a place to go for shopaholics ,      arcade  gamer , or just to have some fun and relaxing antikvarijat split trip after a long stroll in the capital town.  In pricing of the shops there , probably tourists from both domestic or international wouldn't be surprised to keep up the budget . But as for locals or tourists that prefers antikvarijat split a low budget antikvarijat split visit , let's keep in mind that they don't accept returning sold items (unless it's damaged and according to their own rules) . 
 When it comes to foods , restaurants and food franchise are gathered on concourse level and ground floor . Both western, international and local foods are available here , except Burger King . On ground floor , coffee shops are available here . Yes , Starbucks too (don't antikvarijat split worry about that) . I took a small sized , personal pizza in Pizza Hut - a great pizza restaurant that I loved so much . 
A mall without amusement park is lifeless antikvarijat split . That's my very big motto when scouting the pros and cons of a location . The big things that really made 1Borneo is a real deal to me is the amusement park like arcade centre's unique characteristic . I've been to several places in Sabah, yet I never found this kind of system. Instead of using coins/tokens , it using card scanning antikvarijat split system to play . It's more to prepaid card . Once the token reloaded in the card is already 'toasted' , you can reload it again and again . 
U-Bowl and Archer Center antikvarijat split on the same level and just opposite to each other . Well , my 'twin-entertainment' in 1Borneo . U Bowl provide quite clean and biggest bowling alley in Kota Kinabalu . For those who loved basketball should take a shot and make some high score in the basketball antikvarijat split machines . Snooker and billiard also provided here . Archery is only RM9 per game , plus free basic coaching on how-to . 
Not to be missed , a traditional must have entertainment in a place with such a great prestige and sophistication ,  a big cinema. Golden Screen Cinemas (GSC) affordable cost of movie tickets: dependable with the weekends and weekdays tariff . On weekdays, you might get tickets around RM 8-9 , except for student rate , you'll get RM6 per ticket . Weekends and public holidays, (no mercy for you); a big , fat RM9-10 per ticket , even if you have a student card. For 3D, it costs RM 13-15 , dependable for the day tariff. Yet , still a really worth , because the movie theater is soooo spacious . 
While the entertainment antikvarijat split aspect already attracted many tourists , various of 'zen' areas can be found also . Try to relax yourselves with "Rest and Go" machines , or try the spa treatments . Sounds so bored , isn't ? Well , what about fish spa ? 
Amazingly , my journey antikvarijat split ends around 5 pm , which I think I could spend more . Nevertheless , I had such a great fun and great experience there . If you just happened to visit on the same time as exhibitions, fairs and bazaar being held , you are one lucky person . You'll definitely enjoyed attending it !  Be careful and try not to get lost there . When seasonal time like Christmas antikvarijat split  and Chinese New Year , this place is definitely packed with people. Okay I may not good at reviewing things but I surely know how to advertise! Ha.ha. seems that these few days, plenty of people googling wooden trolley on 1Borneo. Well, everyone is curious & not much information being put in the media (apart from the GSC 1Borneo giving away free tickets from 31/5 until 4/6/08), I see not much being done to promote. Maybe I am wrong, I’m not the kind of person that will read local newspaper everyday but I surely will read my TheStar, NST, TheEdgeDaily wooden trolley news everyday before 8 while having my breakfast wooden trolley & coffee. Maybe there are some advertisement in the Daily Express or The New Sabah Times. LOL.
But I do know that in the world wide web, not much information being circulated regarding the mixed development project mentioned earlier. Apart from another blog, the official website & some tourism-related website, I see no other site that give an in-depth information. But of course credit to whoever put the conceptual development video in youtube & the Tune Store / Hotel . Bravo to Airasia!
Maybe I am wrong. wooden trolley Maybe it is not widely advertise yet because it is not officially launch & everything is still in the midst of completion. What I am trying to say is, that we’ll just wait and see!
I can’t wait to see some Project development (once it complete & operational) in Sabah, they will have a continously updated website & not just a one time website set-up & walla, that’s it. So, 1Borneo, are you up to the challenge ? :p
Yep, I will go to the soft opening this weekend & I will bring my camera wooden trolley & blog about it again later. geez… I feel like a journalist. Ha,ha. I’m just a humble blogger that got nothing better to do that blog about every little thing. Well, not everything though. *ROFL.

Yep I went to 1Borneo today as it is ‘unofficially’ open its door to public. Well, my first impression was, whoa, not bad lah . The developer still rushing to finish up everything. Basically the mall & its adjacent hotels are in the finishing phase but for condos, island kitchen table they are still struggling with the floor construction.
I hope this mall will have sufficient parking lot to accommodate the number of visitors especially island kitchen table during the weekend. The first shop that makes me go ga-ga was the French Connection! FCUK finally reaching KK!
There are some other bigger store open in 1B as compared to the one in Warisan such as Charles & Keith, island kitchen table Esprit, Billabong, Blush etc. Argh I can’t remember all the shops, but some that i take notice are M.A.C cosmetic!!, Braun Buffel!!!!, Tune store, Nine West, MNG, Crocs, GUESS, Euro Moda, Samsonite, and etc.
oh dang! Now I seriously want one. I have made up my mind. I’m getting iPhone over xperia X1! But of course I have to wait until end of this year (the earliest) to get my hands on the 2nd generation! :)
Oh btw, 1Borneo is not located in the city centre. It is located along the Jalan Sulaman-UMS. So in order to increase human traffic to the Project area, they are planning to offer hovercraft service to transport people from the city centre & the airport. Cool eh. The reason being to transport people straight island kitchen table to the airport is that, 1B will housed 4 hotels, Tune Hotel, Novotel 1B, Mercure and BEST WESTERN Coutryard Hotel. I never knew that there is such rumors but all I can confirm is that the basement parking lot was indeed flooded up to the ankle during the soft launching due to heavy downpour island kitchen table and I parked my car there. (*heart pain) Give em time. Im sure they’ll improve. Will they?

haha yes indeed. it is quite far from the city & public transportation not as efficient as other place. better to book room in the city or any other place depending on your targeted visiting island kitchen table area. Tune hotel would be most convenient if you are traveling and doing some business nearby UMS, Sulaman etc.

Argh, I thought I could get to watch The Forbidden Kingdom at GSC 1Borneo for free today, but it was not meant to be. Firstly, upon reaching there, my friend and I say a huge crowd outside GSC. (This can't be good...) So when we reached the ticketing counter they already put out a sign saying that all shows for today are full. No more tickets. A little background: Golden Screen Cinemas is gonna officially open at 1Borneo on the 5th of June 2008, soo they're giving out free tickets to a selection of movies bbq trailers for sale - usually those that came out a few months ago. All you need to do is to cut out a coupon or print that coupon from the GSC website and present it to redeem 2 tickets to watch the shows. The shows that they offered are: “10,000 BC”, “Nim’s Island”, “The Forbidden Kingdom”, “Jumper”, “Escape from Huang Si”, “Evolusi KL Drift (Malay)”, “Congkak (Malay)”, and “CJ7 (Chinese)”. Anyway, back to the story at hand. The crowd that was outside GSC was made up of mostly construction workers and their family members. Security was everywhere, and the place smelled funny because construction crews were still working feverishly to complete everything inside the shops for 1Borneo's grand opening on the 8th of June 2008. So my friend and I decided to go look for ice cream at McDonalds after walking aimlessly around the half-completed shopping mall. Oh well, we'll see how it looks like when fully finished... in a month or two. LOL

Woody, Buzz and the gang are back and this time in 3D. That's right, folks  Toy Story 3  will be on the big screen beginning 17 June and if you get yourself to any of the GSC outlets (except GSC Signature), purchase a GSC Combo 2 pack with a regular Coca-Cola/Sprite/Vanilla Coke from 10 June onwards, you'll take home a complimentary laboratorios synthesis limited edition  Toy Story 3  stationery set.
Wait, there's more. In  Toy Story 3 , the toys are left in a daycare center when their Andy leaves for college. Last night, we got to watch Mummy 3, a fun and adventure movie at Cinema 1 which is very spacious and comfy. Why I am saying this? Because whenever we watched the movies at 1Borneo GSC but we never got the chance to get the Cinema hall 1.
My daughter and her 2 friends came earlier to shop at the Hypermall. So we made an arrangement to call her and meet her there at 5 pm to have our dinner at any of the eatery shop before the show starts at 7.10 pm. Most of the eatery shops are located at the Ground Floor. Funny, I can hardly get her thru' my hp, we are using Digi, no line indicated. It's no joke. So frustrating. At last, we communicate thru' sms, she had her dinner at Sushi King and we at the other end, same floor!
