Thea is currently employed as office coordinator, representing the home appliance in Trøndelag. Prior to this she worked as a trainee at Trøndelags European Office in Brussels. Thea has a master's degree in European Studies and International Relations from the University of East Anglia in Norwich. It gave her the experience as an intern at the East of England European Partnership.
A fixed asset in Brussels will be important for achieving strategic objectives at the office. 30 round table This includes the information about relevant EU programs in which Norway participates and monitoring of collaborative projects with Trøndelag actors. Adviser will also help to maintain a network of contacts both in Brussels and in Trøndelag. Thea confirms this:
- I look forward to supplying office the continuity it needs. It is important to nurturing the good contact I have had with stakeholders at home in Trøndelag 30 round table through my role as coordinator. A good and continuous cooperation homeward provides increased opportunities and potential for increased international activity in Trøndelag. I'm looking for me to have a coordinating role between actors working internationally in Trøndelag, be it in research, education, culture or business. It is also a goal that the advisor position will serve as a connection point to European contact.
Adviser will be available even if the position is located in Brussels. Thea will have regular visits home in Trøndelag, and is involved in information 30 round table work and collaboration meetings at home in the region. At the same time she completes strategic location in Brussels, have access to a major European network, and to follow the EU's policy-development where this is relevant for Trøndelag.
