Tuesday, January 26, 2010; Today is Australia Day, Australia's national day. It is celebrated gsc aeon bandaraya melaka everywhere, and cars are decorated with the Australian flag - and as it is still vacation gsc aeon bandaraya melaka here, all free and to celebrate the occasion. It celebrates that it is the day the first British fleet arrived in Sydney in 1788, and hoisted the British flag, and the proclamation of British sovereignty over the eastern seaboard of Australia. There is also a tradition of some of the largest music festivals in Australia takes place just on 26 January. But it's not just dry it all. A small but growing part of the population is against the day that they think is an insult to the indigenous people of Australia as well as a tribute to the colonial power Britain. This rebellion has grown to several well-known media people on his side, and the part of the debate, which apparently takes up most here is the debate about the Australian flag - many believe that the flag must be changed so that the Union Jack is no longer a part of the flag. A poll recently showing gsc aeon bandaraya melaka that as much as 44% believe that it may be time that Australia will become a republic with its own flag and president, and thus truly cutter umbilical cord to England. gsc aeon bandaraya melaka Today, Australia is a constitutional monarchy where the British Queen is head of state. One of the guests at the Confort Inn that I spoke to yesterday said it this instructions below: You come from a kingdom - but imagine straight to your queen lived in the United States, do you think I would be so jelly that you claim I is? I leave that question floating in the wind and travel day away from the debate gsc aeon bandaraya melaka to find another kingdom, where republic debate gsc aeon bandaraya melaka did not have a chance gsc aeon bandaraya melaka - namely to Malaysia.
